Autumn is here. With this september the hottest on record so far, it hasnt started so badly. Looking round, the village seems alot busier then last year, with lots of tourists scattered around the bars and restaurants. Its nice to see the pizza takeaway, “Frasers” open again. Situated just up the hill from the post office, I can assure you, you will not find a better pizza in the Algarve. With there chicken curry pizza also being my favourite, you really have to try it out! Theres many exciting things happening here with us. So when you decide to have a change of scenery in a different part of the Algarve, your information will be here waiting for you. Were still going to Rocha Brava for our tennis. If you like a game and fancy one, just go up to Rocha Brava on week days at 3.30pm and you can join in for just 7€ or if you travel to and from Carvoeiro regular, its worth joining the club for 183€ a year. New Bars, Shops and Restaurants. A Doner kebab restaurant has been opened in Carvoeiro. Situated on the out road of carvoeiro (Rua Do Barranco) 200m from the main square, it is a nice place to go and fill that gap when you finish your night out. Its open till 2am every night. Very Exciting! “Hemingways bar” is under new management. New owners Dave and Sharon will be there along with there pleasant staff, Ryan, Angie and Eric. They will continue with there stunning toasties and other general snacks. A new cafe is being developed on the in road (Rua do pescedores), Named “Cafe Jomar” where the butchers used to be situated. A new shoe shop has been opened on restaurant hill called “Shoe Outlet” opposite the taxi rank. Thanks for taking the time to read our newsletter.
